Elisa Carollo
Co-founder – CEO
Elisa Carollo is art advisor, curator and USPAP-compliant ISA (International Society of Appraisers) member appraiser, with her focus on contemporary and ultra-contemporary art. She holds an MA in Art, Law and Business from Christie’s New York and a BA in Marketing and management of Cultural and Creative Industries from IULM University, Milan. She has now +7 years of experience in the art business between brokerage, art fairs, auctions and cultural organizations. After her experience with the New York art world and with an international art advisory firm in the city, she served as advisor and curator for the strategic growth of Benetton’ family new art foundation in Italy, Fondazione Imago Mundi. She writes regularly for Il Giornale dell’Arte (The Art Newspaper Italy, by Allemandi) and she’s editor and partner for Art She Says, an international platform to empower women in the arts. She often offers lectures and hosts artist interviews on different media channels.
Now back in New York, she’s co-directing Pintô International, the New-York outpost of a Manila-based most important museum for Contemporary Art in the Philippines, aimed at promoting contemporary Filipino artists on an international stage. Meanwhile, she continues to advise the program of Fondazione Imago Mundi working on their international projects and PR, as well as working as freelance advisor for collectors, galleries and artists, and writing about art and its market for international magazines and platforms. She also recently joined the IKT (International Association of Curators of Contemporary Art).
Maylin Pérez
Co-founder – CEO
Maylin Pérez is curator, advisor and independent art historian with more than a decade of experience in the cultural economic ecosystem, specialized in projects, exhibitions and collections management across global networks. Have collaborated with international organizations such as the Museum of Contemporary Art of Panama, Toledo Foundation in Mexico, Japan Foundation, Accor, Paris Photo, among others. With understanding in contemporary art and museography, working with both established and emerging artists, assist collectors to build, organize and expand their collections.
In 2011, Pérez graduated Summa Cum Laude in Art History from the Universidad de Oriente, Santiago de Cuba and in 2022 completed a long-term course certified by Christie’s Education London: “Negotiating the Art Market: Collecting, Buying and Selling Art”. From 2012 to 2015, worked as curator of the Fototeca de Cuba and the Fábrica de Arte Cubano and in 2018 created the Fototeca de Panamá Foundation, a non-profit organization aimed at researching and promoting photography. Currently collaborates as a mentor for Vertical Crypto Art Residency, chief curator of Curo platform, Chile and the Latin American art pavilion hosted in the Metaverse of DSL-Collection, France. Cuban born, Dutch citizenship and Panamanian by heart, Maylin plays a fundamental role in connecting with the art from Latin America, the Caribbean, the United States and Europe.
